Monica Quarry
Pilates Reformer Instructor
Monica has always had a passion for fitness and movement, exploring new activities, and enjoying the challenge of pushing the body and mind. She grew up in the Bay Area; trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern dance, and was a competitive softball player. As a pilates client, she soon found the wonderful benefits the discipline had to offer, and felt the need to share it with others. She began the journey into teaching in 2014, and now does so through group classes and private sessions. She has experience working with all ages and backgrounds; non-athletes, pro-athletes, cross-training, senior balance, injury prevention & rehabilitation, & pre/post natal. Monica attributes pilates to getting her back to 100% function after a 2016 knee surgery. She encourages her clients to have fun during their sessions while challenging themselves, and to discover feeling stronger, more flexible and relaxed, as well as confident in their body movement & mind.
