Xcel in motion

Mid to High Intensity workout, with low to mid-impact exercises. This workout, will focus on functional strength and mobility exercises to enhance overall fitness and performance in an active lifestyle. Perfect for swimmers, golfers, skiers and tennis players.

XCEL in Core

A non-impact, low to mid-intensity workout that will improve the ability to engage the core, which in turn will positively impact balance, stability and overall strength in abs, back and trunk. This program is a fantastic supplement to an existing wellness routine, or for anyone beginning, or returning to an exercise routine.

XCEL IN CORE & MOTION

A program which combines elements of our XCEL in MOTION and XCEL in CORE classes. These workouts will include training for efficient functional movement, along with exercises dedicated to strengthen the core and improve balance and mobility.

XCEL IN HITT

High Intensity Interval Training is a training method designed to improve cardiovascular and muscular endurance, strength and agility, through the use of equipment and formatting unavailable in our Group Fitness classes.

Why XCEL?

XCEL Team Training is a results-driven program designed to provide personalized coaching in a small group or “team” setting. Throughout each session, XCEL participants will have the opportunity to improve upon individual goals, while achieving overall improvement in fitness and confidence. Classes are led by experienced personal trainers, to ensure participants are receiving individualized feedback on form. Because each group is together for the entire session, the XCEL program will offer a high level of camaraderie, support, and encouragement within each team.

StrongHER Intro

StrongHER INTRO:

  • Intended for Beginners, those returning from a break or wanting to improve form and gain confidence

  • Finish the workshop with the knowledge, ability and program to continue to Strength Train on your own or join Group Strength classes.

StrongHER Level 2

StongHER Level 2:

  • Focus on Challenging Muscles through Gradual Increases for improved strength & muscle mass.

  • Intended for those that have completed the Intro workshop or with some experience strength training.

  • Also great for GroupEx participants looking to push through plateaus.

  • Learn the basics of TRX Suspension Training and work with Dumbbells and Kettlebells

Why StrongHER?

StrongHER is a strength-focused training program designed specifically for women who want to build confidence, feel powerful, and move well in a supportive small-group environment. Each session is thoughtfully programmed to improve strength, mobility, and overall fitness while meeting participants exactly where they are.

Classes are led by experienced coaches who provide hands-on guidance, individualized feedback on form, and smart progressions to help you safely get stronger over time. Because the same group trains together each session, StrongHER fosters a strong sense of community, accountability, and encouragement—creating a space where women can challenge themselves, celebrate progress, and feel supported every step of the way.

At SHC, we encourage all of our members to either complete the traditional workout or participate utilizing modifications to promote an inclusive, supportive, motivating challenge for everyone.

Why Join the Murph?

The "Murph" started as a CrossFit Hero workout. This is specifically to honor Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on June 28th, 2005.

This workout itself was Michael’s favorite workout to do, so every year, athletes around the world pay special tribute to Lieutenant Murphy by joining together and completing this workout. The Murph will take place on Memorial Day, simultaneously with gyms and fitness centers across the globe.
