Elevate your child's sports performance with our specialized Youth Sports Training classes. Our certified trainers provide expert guidance, helping young athletes enhance their skills, agility, and teamwork.

The Junior Fit program is specifically designed with our tween and teen members in mind. The goals of this program are to build trust and independence, promote the benefits of healthy movement, and serve as a foundational building block for a lifetime of wellness.

Participants who successfully complete the certification course will be able to utilize the fitness floor and have access to the following privileges:

  • Access the majority of campus* without parent/guardian supervision.
  • Participate in Junior Fit-approved group exercise classes.
  • Free MyWellness account loaded with age-appropriate workouts that can be used while at SHC or off-site.
  • Opportunities to advance to more complex specialty training and programs in the future.

*Kids under the age of 14 may not be in the pool/pool deck without the supervision of a responsible adult.

Intro to the fitness floor & club etiquette. 

Training on MyWellness account & Technogym equipment.

Benefits of cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility training.

Foundational body-weight exercises for strength training.

Age-appropriate workouts designed for our Junior Fit certified members that can be put to use right away.

This one's for the girls! A program that will teach the fundamentals of fitness in a fun, supportive and positive environment for ages 8-13. The classes will include cardio, strength, and flexibility to help our youth feel more confident in sports, P.E. and their world in general. Great for all levels!

Join Coach Amber one day per week to learn the foundations of fitness. With an emphasis on learning proper form, participants will complete workouts which include strength training and cardio conditioning. Our small group will work to build confidence and self-esteem in a positive, supportive environment.
