Empower your daughters with the confidence, strength, and skills they need through our Train Like a Girl program. Our unique approach combines fitness and personal development in an empowering environment.

The Junior Fit program is specifically designed with our tween and teen members in mind. The goals of this program are to build trust and independence, promote the benefits of healthy movement, and serve as a foundational building block for a lifetime of wellness.

Participants who successfully complete the certification course will be able to utilize the fitness floor and have access to the following privileges:

  • Access the majority of campus* without parent/guardian supervision.
  • Participate in Junior Fit-approved group exercise classes.
  • Free MyWellness account loaded with age-appropriate workouts that can be used while at SHC or off-site.
  • Opportunities to advance to more complex specialty training and programs in the future.

*Kids under the age of 14 may not be in the pool/pool deck without the supervision of a responsible adult.

This performance-based program is designed specifically for student-athletes looking to maximize their off-season. In a supportive, high-energy environment, athletes will develop strength, power, and endurance without the pressure of competition. Training emphasizes speed, agility, flexibility, and sport-specific IQ while addressing muscle imbalances and mobility to reduce injury risk. With a focus on proper technique and intentional progression, student-athletes will build confidence, enhance performance, and return to their sport stronger, faster, and game-ready. Ages 15+

Pre-Season Athlete Coach | Fitness Coach

6+ Years Coaching High School Athletics
Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, Linfield University ‘23

Tyler was a two-sport captain at West Linn High School and part of the team that brought home the school’s first-ever state football championship. He went on to play at Linfield University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and bringing his passion for athletic performance into a coaching career focused on developing the next generation of athletes.

Tyler has spent the past six years coaching high school athletes, combining firsthand playing experience with cutting-edge training methods from some of the nation’s top performance coaches. His Pre-Season Athlete classes are designed to prepare athletes to lead their team from Day 1, focusing on power, strength, mobility, recovery, speed, agility, and plyometric development.

This comprehensive program introduces kids to the fundamentals of fitness in a safe, fun, and high-energy setting. Designed to improve athletic performance while reducing the risk of injuries, the program combines interval training, games, and instruction on proper form. Youth Sports Training will include drills and exercises catered to improving cardio and muscular endurance, with specific attention to strength, speed, agility, and endurance. Additionally, balance and core utilization will be emphasized to help athletes excel in various sports such as football, soccer, volleyball, and cross-country. By building confidence and success through proper form and body mechanics, participants will be well-prepared for organized sports and school fitness settings.

This one's for the girls! A program that will teach the fundamentals of fitness in a fun, supportive and positive environment for ages 8-13. The classes will include cardio, strength, and flexibility to help our youth feel more confident in sports, P.E. and their world in general. Great for all levels!

Join Coach Amber one day per week to learn the foundations of fitness. With an emphasis on learning proper form, participants will complete workouts which include strength training and cardio conditioning. Our small group will work to build confidence and self-esteem in a positive, supportive environment.
