Elevate your child's sports performance with our specialized Youth Sports Training classes. Our certified trainers provide expert guidance, helping young athletes enhance their skills, agility, and teamwork.

The Junior Fit program is specifically designed with our tween and teen members in mind. The goals of this program are to build trust and independence, promote the benefits of healthy movement, and serve as a foundational building block for a lifetime of wellness.

Participants who successfully complete the certification course will be able to utilize the fitness floor and have access to the following privileges:

  • Access the majority of campus* without parent/guardian supervision.
  • Participate in Junior Fit-approved group exercise classes.
  • Free MyWellness account loaded with age-appropriate workouts that can be used while at SHC or off-site.
  • Opportunities to advance to more complex specialty training and programs in the future.

*Kids under the age of 14 may not be in the pool/pool deck without the supervision of a responsible adult.

Train Like a Girl is a 10-week youth training program specifically designed for girls in elementary and middle school. This movement-based, interval-style program combines age-appropriate cardio and strength exercises to help participants develop coordination, strength, and overall athletic ability in a fun and supportive environment.

Beyond physical training, this program places a strong emphasis on confidence-building, self-belief, and resilience. Through positive coaching and encouraging instruction, girls learn to trust their abilities, celebrate progress, and feel empowered both in sports and in everyday life.

Classes are non-competitive, high-energy, and designed to meet girls where they are—no matter their experience level. All sessions are led by certified personal trainers who are passionate about youth development and creating a safe, inclusive space where girls can grow stronger, more confident, and proud of what their bodies can do.
